Here is Gracie enjoying the three brothers swing!

Grace, Jonah and Ben eating yummy Christmas treats!

Here we are playing "beauty shop"! This is one of Grace's favorite gifts from Christmas! (Could I be in trouble here??)

Dad with Jonah and Thomas the Train. No, Thomas is not super glued to Jonah's little hand!

Gracie loves to pretend to be "Wyatt" from the new show Super Why.

Thanks to Mom/"Granma," who filled our tummies with delicious food and treats. You made our Christmas very special!!!

Snow

We took the kids sledding after our Christmas morning at Lindenwood University and mommy brought the camera all to realize the batteries were completely dead. Unfortunately, I missed out on some great photos. Gracie couldn't get enough of the sledding with daddy. Jonah was very much into making a "baby" Frosty the snowman while dad and Grace made a giant Frosty. Gracie was very, very concerned about leaving Frosty at Lindenwood all alone because he wouldn't have anyone to "play with or give him hugs".

Christmas at home

Cookies made by tiny little hands, milk and a note to Santa asking him to please come early to our "red house".

Gracie opening her present and Jonah opening a Hershey Kiss.

Yes, more chocolate!!

Gracie proudly wearing her "pink, sparkly tiara made especially for her by Santa's elves".

Christmas at home was tons of fun! Gracie couldn't wait to rip open her presents from Santa and all Jonah wanted to do was eat "canee" (candy) or "choc-lit" all morning. Christmas is so enjoyable with little ones around. We were even blessed with 8 inches of snow on the day we had our family Christmas. It couldn't have been more perfect!!

Gingerbread House

We have a made it a Robinson family tradition to make a Gingerbread House every December! I think more candy made it in Grace and Jonah's mouth than on the Gingerbread House! It was great fun.

Jonah is doing so well and we are experiencing our first entire month since he was born with absolutely NO illness on his part! Yipeeeee!!

Christmas Fun!

Christmas time is SO much fun with little ones around! I hear the words "Sanna", "Cwismas Twee", "Cwismas Wights", and "Cannee" all day long! Aaron and I have also enjoyed listening to Jingle Bells over and over and over and over.... well, you get the point!

We visited the Galt House where we enjoyed a story, puppet show, visit with Santa, and a fresh baked cookie from Mrs. Claus! Gracie was of course thrilled to see Santa and after a bit of encouragement she bravely walked up to him and sat in his lap. It was so cute. Jonah, on the other hand, was gripping onto my shirt for dear life and took no part in sitting in Santa's lap. He said, "Sanna scar-ee Mommy!"

Thanksgiving at "Granma's"

The tryptophan began to kick in as they enjoyed another round of "Finding Nemo".

Of course I forgot my camera on Thanksgiving Day and missed out on some great pictures. One in particular, of Gracie stuffing her little mouth with Pumpkin Pie (that Granma made especially for her) would have been great. We had a wonderful time in Mt. Vernon with our family!!!

Kidney Update: The drain has been removed! We have a follow-up appointment in 3 more weeks. As for now, my wet diapers are twice the size they used to be since both of my kidneys are working! Yipeeee!!

What a Strong "Kid-ney"!

Here is our brave little boy before and after his kidney surgery.

Poor little guy knew something strange was about to happen.

During recovery. He couldn't have been any sweeter!

Nothing like a good nap on Daddy!

Sweet Eric, Geri, and Benny came to visit and lavished us with our favorite food(s) and the best DVD in the world... CARS!

After a yummy purple popsicle! Hooray, it's over!!

Fun times...

We are pretty proud of our little girl who has begun to read, write, and learn letters! Here she is after she proudly wrote her middle name "Ila"!

Making sugar cookies at 6:30 in the morning! What else is there to do at that time of the day?? NOT sleep!!

Reading a book before they get dressed.

Leaving the Nest...

We decided to take our baby eaglets out of the nest for the day. It was time to teach them how to build their own nest and fly on their own.

We all ventured out into the beautiful forest.

The oldest eaglet, Gracie, was very excited about the possibilty of building her very own nest full of pretty fall colored leaves!

She was feeling so energetic and confident, she attempted to fly off a very high rock!

After a few unsuccessful attempts at flying, the baby eaglets "eagerly" scoped out a new place for their nest.

All of these activities made the eaglets very tired and hungry so they stopped for a snack. Incase you didn't know, Cheez-its and Cheese Popcorn are favorites among the eaglets.

The Mommy Robinson eagle and the Daddy Cope eagle had to help the eaglets along the way...

Eagles are very affectionate creatures.

Atlast, the baby eaglet takes flight!
